CASES OF SUCCESS

Advising and representing Daimler and Geely in the approval of the merger before the European Commission regarding the creation of a joint venture to develop, manufacture, and distribute the next generation of pure battery electric vehicles under the “smart” brand in China and Europe.

Advising and representing in various matters related to practices allegedly contrary to competition law. This includes providing counsel on labor agreements sanctioned as conduct involving the adoption of agreements to reserve exclusively for staff by the CNMC.

Representation of Valencia Football Club before the EU courts in the annulment of a supposed State aid decision from 2016 (SA.36387). In particular, a state guarantee provided to cover the bank loan to the Valencia Foundation for the subscription of shares of Valencia CF, in the framework of the capital increase operation of Valencia CF.

We regularly advise clients on the analysis of their merger operations and the potential impact they may have in various jurisdictions from the perspective of merger control and competition law. We have provided this service to clients in multiple sectors, including renewable energy, automotive, software, among others.

We accompany our clients throughout the entire process related to a potential cartel investigation or leniency application.
